Avitrol Whole Corn (11649-7)
Comes in two sizes, 1.5 lb jar or 5 lb box.
Pre-baiting is a federal requirement before deploying Avitrol Baits. This critical step maximizes bait acceptance and treatment effectiveness while ensuring compliance with EPA label requirements.
Measure 1 part Active Whole Corn to 40 parts Untreated Whole Corn to achieve the required 1:40 dilution ratio.
Thoroughly blend the Active Whole Corn with the Untreated Whole Corn until the treated corn is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Pour the finished mixture into an Avitrol baiting tray and place it at the approved baiting location according to your bird management plan.
After you have successfully prebaited, pour the mix of untreated and active mixed grains into your baiting tray once weekly for 1–3 weeks, or until bird activity ceases.

Built for agricultural environments, our grain formulations help streamline bait preparation and deployment without adding unnecessary complexity. By reducing the time spent managing nuisance birds, you can stay focused on protecting feed, maintaining productivity, and keeping your operation running efficiently.
No two agricultural operations are alike. From feed bunks and silage piles to grain storage areas and livestock facilities, bird activity varies throughout an operation. Whole Corn can be strategically deployed wherever pigeons are naturally feeding or loafing to help improve feeding activity and support effective bird management across a wide range of agricultural environments.

Developed using decades of biotechnology research, Active Whole Corn is part of a proven pigeon management system trusted by the agriculture community for more than 40 years. Every application is supported by science-driven formulations designed to encourage effective bird dispersal while helping protect your profit and operations.

It is treated corn that specifically targets pigeons. It utilizes active ingredient, 4-aminopyridine that has been proven pain free for birds.
Yes. Federal law requires prebaiting before implementing Avitrol-treated bait. Untreated Corn Chops help prepare birds for treatment by encouraging consistent feeding behavior at the baiting location.
After mixing 1 part Active Whole Corn with 40 parts Untreated Whole Corn, pour the finished mixture into one of our baiting trays. Place the tray in areas where birds naturally loaf or feed, such as rooftops, ledges, I-beams, and other common congregation sites.
Check that the bait is placed where birds are actively feeding and that alternative food sources are limited. Birds may need several days to become comfortable with a new feeding location. If feeding activity remains low, contact our team for personalized guidance and baiting recommendations.
